#BookSubscriptionBoxReview Bindful Books Ltd (July 2021)

Well hello there! For the month of July on my little project to review a different book subscription box every month of 2021, I present to you Bindful Books Ltd. To be honest, I never heard of them before, but they are offering amazing products on their website, including surprise book boxes.

This company offers boxes that have second hand books. They offer a very wide variety of genres to choose from and you can choose how many books you would like to receive in the parcel (1-3). Also you can choose your drink and they include delicious biscuits as well. Also, there is a small bookish item as well. You can buy it as one off or subscribe to receive a surprise every month. πŸ™‚ For more information, please visit https://bindfulbooksltd.co.uk/

I chose to receive three classics books, because I want to expand my classics reading. The books came in brilliant condition and the box cost me Β£14.99 including postage. So, here are all the items I received in this box:

All the items in the box
Book And bookmark

The first book was Nothanger Abbey by Jane Austen. It is a lovely paperback and in excellent condition. They also included a bookmark from Bookishly UK with a quote from Persuasion by Jane Austen , and I am very big fan of their bookmarks. πŸ™‚

Here is the blurb of the book:

Northanger Abbey tells the story of a young girl, Catherine Morland who leaves her sheltered, rural home to enter the busy, sophisticated world of Bath in the late 1790s. Austen observes with insight and humour the interaction between Catherine and the various characters whom she meets there, and tracks her growing understanding of the world about her.

In this, her first full-length novel, Austen also fixes her sharp, ironic gaze on other kinds of contemporary novel, especially the Gothic school made famous by Ann Radcliffe. Catherine’s reading becomes intertwined with her social and romantic adventures, adding to the uncertainties and embarrassments she must undergo before finding happiness.

Second book and tea

The second book I received was The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. I read it when I was in school, and I am very glad to read it again. They also included some tea bags and it tastes delicious. πŸ™‚

Here is the blurb of the book:

The Jungle Books can be regarded as classic stories told by an adult to children. But they also constitute a complex literary work of art in which the whole of Kipling’s philosophy of life is expressed in miniature. They are best known for the `Mowgli’ stories; the tale of a baby abandoned and brought up by wolves, educated in the ways and secrets of the jungle by Kaa the python, Baloo the bear, and Bagheera the black panther.

The third book and a snack

The third book in the box was Dracula by Bram Stoker. I haven’t read this book yet, even though I have several collectors editions, that is why I was glad to receive this paperback. I don’t really want to read my other editions, they are too pretty. πŸ˜€ They also included some delicious biscuits. πŸ™‚

Here is the blurb of the book:

Acting on behalf of his firm of solicitors, Jonathan Harker travels to the Carpathian Mountains to finalize the sale of England’s Carfax Abbey to Transylvanian noble Count Dracula. Little does he realize that, in doing so, he endangers all that he loves. For Dracula is one of the Un-Dead — a centuries-old vampire who sleeps by day and stalks by night, feasting on the blood of his helpless victims. Once on English soil, the count sets his sights on Jonathan’s circle of associates, among them his beloved wife Mina. To thwart Dracula’s evil designs, Jonathan and his friends will have to accept as truth the most preposterous superstitions concerning vampires, and in the company of legendary vampire hunter Abraham Van Helsing, embark on an unholy adventure for which even their worst nightmares have not prepared them.

That’s it folks! These were all the items I received. πŸ™‚ So, my overall opinion of this book subscription box is very positive. First of all, I think it is pretty inexpensive and the price depends of how many books you wish to receive. The books are in very good condition and it is a very fun gift idea for someone. Additional items are useful and cute. I am pleased of this purchase, until next time! πŸ˜‰

Thank You for Your time!<3
