Hello, Book Dragons! Welcome to my 2021 recap! 🙂 All I can say is that I sucked in blogging during 2021. I could blame it on the pandemic, or work, but it was mainly me being lazy. I was lazy to read, I was lazy to review and I was late with the targets I set for myself. 😀 But yeah, that life I guess, with its ups and downs, hopefully, I will do better this year.

Last year my goal was to read 65 books and I failed it miserably, I read only 48 books. I am fully aware that my favourite genre is Fiction, and I always challenge myself when it comes to non-fiction. 😉 Surprisingly, I noticed that I listened to 7 audiobooks this year, and I see it as an achievement compared to the year before. I would like to Welcome my 90 new followers on WordPress and thank you very much for joining me! ❤ My social media didn’t grow much this year, especially my Instagram. 😀 So if anyone would like to help me out here is my Instagram Twitter and Facebook , I would be very grateful. 🙂
From all the books I read last year, these are my favourite books of 2021: (included affiliate links)
In January I decided to do a little project, to buy a different book subscription box every month and review it for you. Most of the time I was late with them but I did manage to review 12 different subscription boxes, and here is the list with the links to the review:
January – Book Hooked Box
February – Book Box Club
March – Books That Matter
April – Book-ish
May – The Bookishly Classic Book Crate
June – Illumicrate
July – Bindful Books Ltd
August – My Book Moment
September – Along The Spine
October – The Abominable Book Club
November – Reposed
December – Fairyloot
Hmmm, what else? Oh, yes, during summer I partnered with Books2door and did a review on their products, that was fun. I attended multiple zoom events, was sent some gorgeous book post and participated in plenty of blog tours. I cut down on blog tours a lot because I noticed that they were stressing me out and taking away the joy of blogging or reading, it became like a chore to me rather than a pleasure. I think I will carry on limiting them this year as well. In December I have done my #12ReviewsOfXmas, and in 2021 I shared reviews of Children’s books. 🙂 (Most of them were by Jacqueline Wilson 😀 )
I think that’s about it, thank you for reading my posts in 2021 and I hope you will carry on supporting me during 2022.
Thank you for your time! ❤

Great wrap up and list of favorites💜

Even though you didn’t reach your set reading goal I would still call it a success because you read and that’s all that matters. I always say the fun is in trying!! I followed you on Instagram and Twitter. I no longer have Facebook so I couldn’t follow you there.
