Description of the book: The second volume of the ongoing Horizon Zero Dawn comic series, based on the hit video game by Guerrilla Games! Horizon: a far-future Earth full of epic natural beauty and forgotten ruins, where awe-inspiring, animal-like machines are the dominant species and humans struggle to survive in pre-industrial tribes. Collects issues #5-8 of the smash-hit Horizon Zero Dawn comic series.
How this book made me feel: This book is the second book in the Horizon Zero Dawn series and it covers completely different events. 🙂
In this book, we meet Erend, while on an adventure with Aloy, he tells her the story, of how and why his sister Ersa was killed. I really liked Erend, he is brave and strong, but at the same time, he is sensitive and vulnerable. A dream man if you ask me. 😀 😀 😀 This book is also very fast-paced and the characters are constantly on the go and fighting. I loved the setting of this book as well as all the artwork used in this novel. I love seeing different covers and different styles of artwork. This novel is divided into chapters and this book is quite short, so I read it in one sitting.
So, to conclude, this book was very easy to read and enjoyable, filled with very likeable characters and a plot that was filled with longing, pride and sadness. I am very happy to hear Ersa’s story, she was a very brave warrior. These books really made me want to get the games and see what it is all about. So if you liked the game, give these comics a shot, I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did. 🙂
Thank you for your time ❤
